Uptowncharlybrown Stud sets a record for combined Breeder and Stallion Awards

PINE GROVE, Pa.--Uptowncharlybrown Stud had a spectacular year in 2023, finishing in the top 100 breeders in the country and setting a new record for combined Breeder and Stallion awards.
Uptowncharlybrown Stud smashed the previous record for breeder and stallion awards, set in 2022 by Northview Stallion Station.
The Stud finished 2023 with $869,080 in combined breeder and stallion awards, just $130,000 short of doubling the previous record of $502,000.
Uptowncharlybrown received $236.307 in stallion awards, making him the number one stallion in Pennsylvania.
Only two stallions have ever earned over $200,000 in stallion awards.
Jump Start earned $251,000 in 2019 and now Uptowncharlybrown has joined that elite club with $236,307.
Uptowncharlybrown is also the number two stallion in progeny earnings in 2023, with $2.8 million.
Uptowncharlybrown has a proven record of moving his broodmares up and has sired multiple stakes winners, including Midtowncharlybrown, his full brother Midtowncharly, graded stakes winner Dixie Serenade and Wait for It.
Midtowncharlybrown and Wait for It were both Pa-bred champions more than once.
