UNIONVILLE, Pa.--Join us for the 84th running of the historic 501(c)(3) Pennsylvania Hunt Cup on Nov. 4, the first Sunday in November.
The PHC races began in Whitemarsh, Pa., in 1921.
After a hiatus, the race meet was renewed on the present Unionville course in 1964.
This year again our main beneficiary is the Chester County Food Bank, whose outstanding programs distributed over 2.7 million pounds of food to Chester County families last year.
The 4-mile Pennsylvania Hunt Cup is the race day feature along with a full card of timber races, a flat race, the Junior Pony races, a sidesaddle invitational, a carriage parade and a visit from Mr. Stewart’s Cheshire foxhounds.
The Holiday Boutique shops will be open for shopping all day.
Pack a tailgate or purchase hot food and drinks near the Big Tent.
Enjoy the rolling hills and fall colors of Chester County along with your friends and family for an exciting day of steeplechase racing.
Gates open to the public at 10:30 a.m.
Parking subscriptions are sold both in advance and on race day.
All parking is per car – all occupants are included.
Races are held rain or shine.
Directions and subscriptions are available on the PHC website: www.pahuntcup.org
Weather appropriate attire is recommended!
