GINNY MORTON is an artist living in Chester Springs, Pa.

Ginny J artistA retired science teacher, her painting grew from the many illustrations she provided to the students in her classroom.

Ginny's love and admiration of the natural world is seen in her subject matter.

Her focus is animal art - and custom pet portraits.

"I try to create pieces that make the viewer happy to look at and I may add a touch of whimsy to provoke interest," said Morton. "For me, painting is about exploring the natural world around me and the relationships we have with our fellow creatures. Pet portraits are a way to capture that relationship."
