Elizabeth Bewley of Unionville, Pa., won first place in the Photo Contest, Pet category, with this photo of her cat Otto that she entitled "Jungle Cat."
Bewley took the photo with her phone last July at her farm on Route 82 near Plantation Field.
"He wasn't hunting or anything," said Bewley. "He was just having fun."
"I have a cat rescue," said Bewley. "I have six or eight cats of my own, and then about 20 that I rescue and try to find homes for."
Bewley's rescue is called The Cat Connection and can be found on Facebook.
"I love my horses and my cats," she said. "I've been boarding horses for about 30 years, but I'm downsizing a little now. The cats have the run of the farm. If it's cold, they can get in the tack room or the laundry room."
Adrienne Morella of West Chester, Pa., won second place in the Pet category with a photo of Tracy Redford with one of her goats at her farm in Glenmoore, Pa.
Morella took the photo with her Canon 80D camera.
"We did a series of photo shoots of models with animals on Tracy's farm," said Morella, who works at QVC. "We did it just for fun. We got this vintage gown from an antique store."
"Tracy has four goats and some chickens," said Morella. "They're her pets."
Karen L. Kennedy of Peach Bottom, Pa., caught this close up of a fox that was running straight at her.
She took the photo with a Nikon D7100 camera.
"I took this photo last Nov. 22," said Kennedy. "It was taken just off Freemont Rd., near Nottingham Park in Nottingham."
Kennedy describes herself as a road whipper-in, and she drives the hound truck.
"Hounds had met at Herr's Stone Lane," said Kennedy. "I had parked the hound truck just off Freeman Rd., and the fox ran straight towards me. He didn't pay any attention to me at all."
