The CHESHIRE POINT-TO-POINT is gearing up for its 72nd running.
Once again, there will be an Easter Egg Hunt, Pony Races for small, medium and large ponies and a Junior Master Chase.
The very popular Ladies Side Saddle Race will be back, and nobody turns out better than the Lady Side Saddlers.
Further, there will be the Heavyweight Race, which is sponsored by longtime Cheshire supporters, Rod and Alice Moorhead.
The Novice Race for horses who have never won over timber follows, and then the big race of the day, The Cheshire Bowl, which is the Open Timber race.
This race invariably features horses that will later run in My Lady's Manor, the Maryland Grand National and "The Big One', the Maryland Hunt Cup, which is the dream of everyone involved in timber racing to win.
The concluding races are the Ladies Race, the Foxhunter's Timber Race, to be ridden by riders who have never won a race other than a foxhunter's or old-fashioned race, and the Flat Race.
