Laura Chapot has been circuit champion at both the Winter Equestrian Festival and HITS shows so many times she can't even remember how many, and she has also trained many circuit champions.
Chapot has also been Leading Rider and has ridden the champion open jumper many times at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair and at the Devon Fall Classic.
She is the trainer and star rider at Chado Farms in Neshanic Station, N.J., a full service boarding and training facility offering lessons and training to riders and horses from inexperienced to advanced.
Boarders can be short term, or they can be long term with the opportunity to also travel to shows with Chapot, including travelling down to Wellington, Fla., for the WEF.
While some of Chapot's students are full time boarders, others ship in for lessons or just meet her at shows.
Chado Farms trains jumpers, hunters and eventers as well as breaking young horses and retraining off the track thoroughbreds for new careers in jumping.
Chado Farms has 50 acres with indoor and outdoor arenas, a horse walker for conditioning and injury recovery, daily turnout pstures and field board for retirees and young horses.
