DEVON, Pa.--The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair announced that the Prize List for its 2023 event is now available online.

devon emma millerBeginning Thursday, May 25, and running through Sunday, June 4, the historic show will be celebrating its 127th Anniversary with nearly $1 million in prize money.

Each year, the Devon Horse Show unites top equestrians from a variety of disciplines as they compete for a spot in the winner's circle in the famed and prestigious Dixon Oval.

Known for being the place “Where Champions Meet," the Devon Horse Show has been a can't-miss event for riders since its inception in 1896.

As always, this year's event will feature Show Jumping, Equitation, Hunters, Eventing, Saddlebred, Hackney, Hunter Breeding, and Coaching divisions for all to enjoy.

Exhibitor information for the 2023 Devon Horse Show, including the prize list, stabling information, feed and bedding forms as well as tentative time schedules and so much more are available to exhibitors online at the Devon website.

The show opens with Junior Weekend May 25 – May 28.

For the 5th year, Devon is continues the Devon Arena Eventing Class which has become one of the most popular evenings during the 11-day show and will round out the first weekend of competition on Sunday evening.

ONE OF THE most popular attractions at the horse show each year is the high-stepping, incredibly versatile American Saddlebreds.

At Devon, the American Saddlebred is exhibited in several different divisions including five-gaited, three-gaited, fine harness, pleasure, park, and western.

The competitive sport of coaching, a time-honored Devon tradition, allows spectators a unique glimpse into 19th-century life.

As one of the few venues where competitive coaching can be seen, Devon Horse Show’s coaching division is open to entries driven to authentic Road Coach or Park Drag.

Five-night FEI CSI 4* Open Jumper competition begins Tuesday evening May 30 with the $38,700 Jet Run Welcome Stake, Wednesday’s $38,700 Main Line Challenge, Thursday’s sell-out $226,000 Sapphire Grand Prix of Devon, Friday’s $38,700 Devon Speed Derby and finishes on Saturday, June 3 with the $145,100 Idle Dice Open Jumper Stake.

The Devon Horse Show is widely recognized for its world-class hunter competition and will once again be hosting a variety of hunter divisions with a US Equestrian (USEF) Premier hunter rating.

The country's top hunter riders will compete for the coveted title in the favorite $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby, sponsored by the Wheeler family, Thursday, June 1.

The 11-day show will end with all the pony and horse breeding divisions on Sunday, June 4.

Payment and entries can be submitted ELECTRONICALLY ONLY beginning the week of Feb. 27, by visiting entries.showmanagementsystems.com.
