Sue Wiseman of Boyertown, Pa., took this photo.

My niece rescued this fawn after its mother was tragically hit by a car," said Wiseman, who took this photo with her iphone. "They were driving down a back road near our house when they saw a deer that was clearly dead. But then a little way along they saw a fawn, and it was moving, so they scooped it up and brought it home. My cat, Munchkin, was very curious about who this visitor was and clearly displeased.  He said, 'What did you bring into my house!' The fawn was taken to Red Creek Wildlife Center in Schuykill Haven, Pa for a full recovery!"
