Bill Vendetta of Cochranville, Pa., took this photo of a hound that place third in Pets.
"This is West Bradford Hunt foxhound “Condor” resting his ears after a good hunting day in Runnymede Sanctuary, Londonderry Township, Pa.," said Vendetta.
Donna Magness of Chadds Ford, Pa., too this photo of two dogs playing tug of war.
"This is JJ, a 7-month-old Lab trying to get his toy back from Pippa, 4-year-old Newfoundland," said Magness. "Pippa weighs in at 165 pounds, and JJ is 70 pounds!"
Allan Shore of Wellington, Fla., took this photo of a chipmunk that was too fat to fit back through the chain link fence after a meal at the bird feeder.
Shore took the photo at his home in Pennsylvania.
"We have a Jack Russell that rushed out of the house when he saw the chipmunk," said Shore. "That scared the chipmunk, so he backed out of the fence and darted into a hole."
