DEVON, Pa.--Reese Hajdu placed both first and second in the $5,000, 1.25m Junior Jumper Classic on Sunday, Sept.13 at the Devon Fall Classic.

Junior jumpers were up first, with Hajdu on the Zangersheide mare Unique VD Heffinck Z ultimately winning the $5,000 1.25m Junior Jumper Classic.

The class featured 10 competitors, with Hajdu the only rider to advance to the immediate jump-off on both of her mounts.

 

HAJDU on Unique VD Heffinck Z, was clean and fast to nail down the top spot on the leaderboard with a jump-off time of 40.406 seconds.

His second place finish in the Classic was enough to give Princeton Z the 1.25m Junior Jumper championship.

Closing out the competition and capturing the final blue ribbon of the 2026 Devon Fall Classic was Lauren Rachuba Grosby on Billy Nikon in the $5,000 1.25m Amateur Jumper Classic.

From the starting field of 15, six advanced to the immediate jump-off.

As the final competitor to enter the Dixon Oval, Grosby was clean in 33.578 seconds to secure the victory, winning by over three seconds.

Emily Throop on Luoma II was second, clean in 36.883, and Heather Collins Villemaire on Iconic as third, clean in 43.984.

Billy Nikon was the 1.25m Amateur Jumper Champion.
