Laura Kraut now rides Baloutinue in World Championship

LEXINGTON, Ky.--US Equestrian announced a substitution for the U.S. Jumping Team ahead of the 2026 FEI Jumping World Championships.

Ne Aachen teamOn veterinary advice, Laura Kraut has withdrawn her original mount, Bisquetta, and will now ride Baloutinue in the championship.

The U.S. Jumping Team for the 2026 FEI Jumping World Championships will now include the following riders and horses.

Natalie Dean of Palo Alto, Calif. on Mr Boombastic, a 2014 Selle Français gelding (

Katie Dinan of New York, N.Y. on Out of the Blue SCF, a 2014 Belgian Warmblood mare 

Lillie Keenan of New York, N.Y. on Fasther, a 2010 KWPN gelding 

Laura Kraut of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. on Baloutinue, a 2010 Hanoverian gelding 

McLain Ward of Brewster, N.Y. on High Star Hero, a 2013 Belgian Sport Horse gelding 

 

COMPETITION Information

Competition will begin on August 19, at 10:30 a.m., whichs 4:30 a.m. ET with the faults converted Speed Round.

The first round of team competition will start at 10:30 a.m., which is 4:30 a.m. ET on Thursday Aug, 20, with the top 10 teams advancing to the second round, which will begin at 6:30 p.m., which is 12:30 p.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 21, determining team medals.

Competition for individual medals will start with Round A at 2:20 p.m., which is 8:20 a.m. ET and conclude with the final individual jumping around at 4:20 p.m., which is 10:20 a.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 23.
