DEVON, Pa.--With the start of the Devon Fall Classic exactly one month from now, it's time to start planning when to attend the show.

With an all jumper show, there 's always exciting competition going on in the Dixon Oval, but some of the highlights include the $5,000 Welcome Stake at 7 pm Thursday evening, the $5,000 Open Speed Stake at 7 pm Friday evening and the $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Saturday evening at 7 pm.
To see some of the stars of the future, there are Five Year Old, Six Year Old and Seven Year Old Jumper classes during the day on Thursday and Friday.
Although entries don't close until Sept. 5, one of the Devon spectators most favorite riders is Laura Chapot of Neshanic Stastion, N.J., and she says she always makes the Devon Fall Classic one of her most important stops on the fall circuit.
Chapot rode Calafornia and C&C Willow, two of the horses tied for champion at the 2022 Fall Classic along with Hollyday ridden by Mia Mannis and Lavino ridden by Sloane Coles.
BUT, ALONG with the thrilling jumper competition, there is always so much more going on at the Fall Classic.
There's live music evenings, great food available both days and evenings, and boutiques offering all sorts of wares where you can get an early start on your Christmas shopping.
For the kids, there's the Fair with all kinds of rides and games.

The competition is presented by Land Rover Jaguar Main Line benefiting the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that allows the historic venue the support it needs to continue improvements to the showground.
