Nancy Ligon of Glenmoore, Pa., placed first in the Action category with her photo of a girl on a swimming horse.
The clarity of this unusual picture, but especially the expression of joy and fun on the girl's face, made this the winning photo.
"I have a boarding and training stable, Firefly Farm, in Glenmoore," said Ligon. "This is one of my current students. She's riding one of my horses. This was taken at March Creek during the week of summer camp. I only take the horses there that I know enjoy going into the water."
