Action Photos third place is winner Jeanne Sharp

Jeanne Sharp of Elbert, Colo., took this third placed Action photo of her dog Maisie competing in Field Lure Coursing in Peyton, Colo.

"It's mostly sight hounds that compete, and they chase a lure on a string," she said. "This was an 800 yard coursing competition. There's usually about 25 dogs in each competition. They're judged on how fast they are, how close to the lure they are and how they stay on the course of the lure."
