In the last decade, Phoenix Equine Services has grown to be one of the largest riding schools in Chester County.
With 34 horses and almost 100 weekly clients, this school has grown from humble beginnings to a farm that is developing the next generation of equestrians!
With riding lesson emphasis based in Dressage and Eventing, this farm provides a well-rounded education on the horse.
But the true secret to its success is the development of a community for both new and seasoned riders to learn while developing bonds that last a lifetime.
The key example of this is our Camp programs!
Our Horsemanship Camp is for young riders with a passion for horses and learning.
Campers will have the opportunity to ride and learn more about horses, caring for them, and the equestrian world.
Our camp focuses on building their skills, while giving a valuable education in the hopes that these kids leave the program not only with core memories but also has future horsemen and women!
All riding levels are welcome, and no prior experience is needed.
One-week sessions will be better suited for a younger group; campers will be able to ride once daily as well as participate in many activities that will introduce them to the equine world.
Two-week sessions will be more geared toward the avid equestrian with a twice-a-day riding schedule and an end of camp riding performance to music for the parents.
Phoenix Equine is also unique in its desire to include individuals from all backgrounds with our very special Johnson-Werner Summer Camp Scholarship!
It is no secret that the cost to enter this incredible sport can be something that is not possible for many individuals, and so in an effort to give more people the chance to get involved, we have developed a scholarship program which will award a week of camp to TWO deserving individuals!
Applying is easy!
Simply send us a creative application that tells us why your child wants to be a part of summer camp!
More information for both our camps and our scholarship can be found at http://www.phoenixequineservices.com/summer-camp1.html
