COATESVILLE, Pa.--Marty May attended The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the John Hussian School of Art.

May 1After retiring from a career in graphic commercial art, Marty resumed his fine art career and now concentrates on his own artistic pursuits.

He specializes in finely detailed pen and ink portraits of pets, private homes, commercial buildings, as well as wildlife and historic buildings and structures.

May 2Marty’s work is done using various sizes of technical pens on high quality water color with India ink.

He inserts a touch of color and humor into his art when he can.

His work is being shown in galleries and shows in the United States and many private and corporate collections throughout North America, Europe, Australia and Asia contain Marty's work.

His art has won numerous awards and has been published in newspapers and magazines.

Marty's philosophy is simply, "If I can make a living doing something I love and make one person reminisce or smile, I have succeeded."
