First, we want to give all honor to our heavenly Father and Savior and to our group of dedicated employees for without we would not exist.
The Product idea all started as a teenager.
in 1975 my father had a farm repair welding shop, and a neighbor who built equine facilities approached us about manufacturing horse stalls and barn doors for them, which turned out to be a very handsome supplemental income for the repair shop business.
This went on until in 1988 when my father was ready to retire, and I had just taken on the venture of taking over the home Dairy farm, so father liquidated his business at public auction.
However this horse stall idea never left me, so in 2000 with our oldest son out of school we decided to fire up the welding shop again which at the time was 1,000 sq feet.
In 2007 the idea of aluminum barn doors was born, which drastically increased our exterior door sales, and in 2008 portable horse stall rentals were added to our product line.
Over the years we expanded and added space to the home farm shop until in 2014 the decision was made to move off the farm to an industrial facility.
Fast forward to 2024, we are utilizing 40,000 sq feet with 28 employees and shipping/installing horse stalls and barn doors throughout the east coast and beyond.

In 2015 Rockaway was acquired by Ideal Manufacturing.
This allowed our customers to screen or filter out some of the dirt material collected while using the Rockaway to remove rocks and unwanted debris from the ground. The screening bucket option made Rockaways excellent for horse arena de-rocking.
Rockaways are an affordable and reliable de-rocking attachment for skid steers and most tractors with front loader arms.
