This week, the Aiken Summer Classic and the Kevin Babington Foundation debuted the Babington Benefit Jump.
The Aiken Summer Classic had jumper classes ranging from .75m to 1.30m, and one fence, The Babington Benefit Jump, was in each course.
For every clean ride over the Babington Benefit Jump, from .75m to the 1.30m jumpers, the Aiken Summer Classic would donate to the Kevin Babington Foundation.
The show produced an incredible 145 clean jumps over the Babington Benefit Jump, marking this one of the most successful days for the Foundation and #RideForKevin.
“First off, congratulations to the 145 riders who jumped the Benefit Jump clean! That is no small feat,” said foundation chairman Jeff Papows. “From the very beginning, #RideForKevin was about giving everyone the chance to participate in riding for Kevin, no matter their skill level. I believe we have succeeded in that today!”
