The Dr. Cook Bitless Bridlewould be a great gift to make your horse happy this holiday (or anytime!)

It was developed after years of research.

The design allows gentle, effective control with pressure that is distributed evenly around the horse's head.

Sometimes when you just can't find a bit that works, trying Dr. Cook Bitless Bridle could be the answer to your problems.

Bitless1Going Bitless, no matter what discipline you are in (English or Western) even or a short period of time can be like hitting the refresh button on your computer.

It is also great to have a Bitless Bridle on hand for situations such as being to ride after having your horse's dental work done, or on long trail rides where they can graze and drink without the nuisance of having a bit in their mouth.

And being able to take the bit away making sure your horse's bad behavior is not related to the bit you are using.

Going Bitless is great for lessons and therapeutic riding programs where the rider has not yet developed the skills necessary to ride in a bit.

The Hay Pillow is a durable slow-feeding system

The two donkeys in the picture — Jenny on the left and her son Jack on the right — live at David Crockett Birthplace State Park in East Tennessee, where they help bring early American homestead life to visitors from around the world.

hayp 2Last year, Hurricane Helene devastated the park.

Their barn and pasture were completely lost in the flooding, and much of the park was wiped out.

For several months, the donkeys stayed at a generous local farm while recovery efforts began.

Today, they are finally back home at the park, currently living on a dry lot while a new three-acre pasture is being established.

In the meantime, finding the right feeding solution became important.

hayp1“We tried so many different feed nets and bags,” says Chelsea, who cares for the donkeys. “Then we found The Hay Pillow online!”

Ground-level feeding was important.

Jenny and Jack prefer to eat together, stretching naturally and moving from one feeder to another.

With two Hay Pillows placed around their dry lot, they can walk between them and eat side by side — just as they would in pasture.

hayp 3“I love that it simulates natural grazing and supports their topline,” Chelsea explains. “They can stretch and eat at ground level without leaving hay scattered in the dirt. Less waste, controlled feeding, and enrichment all in one bag.”

"For animals rebuilding alongside their park, it’s a simple solution that makes a meaningful difference," said Chelsea,

Poulin Grain offers leading animal nutrition

Poulin Grain is a family-owned feed company that has been proudly serving the Northeast with leading animal nutrition since 1932.

Poulin 1The company is known for its premium feeds and personalized service, with a mission to provide animals with the highest-quality nutrition—formulated using science-backed technology to support performance and overall health.

Forage is the cornerstone of any high-performing nutrition program—but how well do consumers really know the nutrients their forage is providing, or what might be missing?

Poulin Grain eliminates the guesswork of feeding by offering complimentary forage analysis to all customers.

Poulin 2Their advanced forage testing program delivers a high level of precision, helping build a more complete and balanced diet.

Recognizing that every animal is unique, Poulin Grain works directly with customers through its team of experienced nutrition specialists.

These specialists visit farms to assess overall animal health and body condition, then collect forage samples for analysis at the company’s in-house lab, located at their bagged feed mill in Newport, Vt.

Based on the results, they develop customized nutrition plans tailored to each animal’s specific needs, ensuring a balanced, performance-driven diet.

For those with limited access to good-quality forage, Poulin Grain’s Forage Extender™ is a practical and effective option.

Poulin 3Available in Mini Bites (standard pellet) and Super Bites (large pellet), this product is formulated to provide highly digestible, essential quality fiber.

Poulin 4It can be used to replace up to half of the forage in an animal's diet, pound for pound – offering an affordable way to improve or extend forage supply.
