LAKE PLACID, N.Y.--Laura Chapot on Ginola won the 1.40m National Jumper Class on Wednesday, June 24 at the first week of the two Lake Placid Horse Shows.

Chapot was clean in the jump-off, finishing in 36.328 seconds for the win.
Last to go in the jump-off, Campbell Brown on Mansini LTD came closest to beating her, finishing the jump-off clean , but with a time of 37.207 seconds to finish second.
Third place went to Sam Walker, who finished the jump-off clean in 37.477 seconds on Sanchez K.
I've had Ginola since he was 6, and he's 10 now," said Chapot. "He's been gradually going up the ranks. He did the two star grand prix in Florida last winter. He's been a really consistent horse for me."
"He'll do the national grand prix Saturday," said Chapot. "We'll see how the horses do in the national division this week and maybe move up to the FEI division next week."
